This Seminar aims to provide senior lecturers, researchers and policy advisers with an overview of the Indo-Pacific concept – tracing the strategic dynamics driving the emergence of the concept, and the origins and evolution of the concept in political discourse. It provides reference to Australia’s experience noting the significance of an Indo-Pacific framing in Australia’s contemporary policy context.
