The VAC builds on strong partnerships between the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and four key Vietnamese institutions: the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and the Office of Government (OOG). In recognition of its important role in building the capacity of Vietnamese Government and Party officials, the HCMA has a lead role in the VAC.Aside from these key partners, the VAC is committed to strengthening existing innovative partnerships between universities, research agencies, not-for-profits and businesses in Vietnam and Australia, such as the Asia Society, Crawford School of Public Policy (ANU), Griffith Asia Institute (Griffith University), Perth USAsia Centre (UWA) and the Australia Vietnam Youth Leadership Dialogue.
