OUR PEOPLE
Leadership of the VAC is provided by two directors, the International Director and a National Director, working in partnership. The International (Australian) and the National (Vietnamese) Director collaborate closely to ensure that the VAC is a vibrant, creative, innovative and dynamic hub for activities that deliver mutual benefits to the Australian and Vietnamese Governments. They work together to strengthen the strategic partnership between Australia and Vietnam.

The International Director will be a senior Australian professional, academic, or public policy specialist with international relations skills and a strong emphasis on relationship development, entrepreneurship and business management.
The National Director, appointed by HCMA, assists with high level planning and approval processes on behalf of the Government of Vietnam. This includes taking a leading role in liaising with Vietnamese leaders and VAC partners to identify capacity building and policy analysis, as well as VAC support to OOG, MOFA and, in the future, other Government ministries as determined by the VAC Steering Committee.
