Strategic Leadership Skills for Mid-Level Leaders and Managers

On 12-14 April, experts from Australia’s RMIT University Vietnam delivered leadership training to current and future leaders studying at Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Guest speakers at the event included Australia’s Ambassador to Vietnam, Ms Robyn Mudie, and Vietnam’s former Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, who both shared their own leadership lessons, experiences and insights. Through innovative and participative learning, RMIT experts and course participants discussed topics such as strategic road-mapping, self-leadership, leading others, cultivating leadership excellence and fore-sighting in the age of digital disruption. The training, which was funded by Australia’s Aus4Skills human resource development program, exemplifies the depth of Australia and Vietnam’s partnership.
