The Vietnam Australia Centre (VAC) is collaborating with Vietnam’s Office of the Government, to build skills and confidence for current and emerging female leaders of the Office of Government, the Office of the National Assembly, the Office of the Central Party Committee, and the Office of the President.
The four-day Advancing Women in Leadership Training is a train-the-trainer program. It strengthens 25 participant’s networks, knowledge and skills to progress gender equity and equality within their respective agencies and communities. Participants will return to their workplaces equipped to support up to 1,500 female civil servants at their agencies.

Mrs Do Thi Thanh Binh, Head of the Training Department at the Office of the Government, said, “Alumni of VAC’s Women in Leadership Journeys have been working on sharing newly acquired knowledge and skills with our female peers. Thanks to generous support from the VAC, we are now able to do the work professionally and at a much larger scale. This training course definitely benefits our agencies and the public sector.”
