During her visit to Vietnam, H.E. the Hon Frances Adamson, Governor of South Australia, visited Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in Hanoi and shared her experience in public sector leadership with Vietnamese leaders.

This knowledge exchange was organised by the Vietnam Australia Centre (VAC). Together with other training and research activities, the VAC strengthens Vietnamese public sector leadership and policy development and shares knowledge that unites Vietnam and Australia on common regional issues and shared challenges.
Overview of the seminar
Before becoming the Governor of South Australia, Ms Adamson was the Secretary of the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, pursuing Australia’s interests internationally and during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also led the department through a period of cultural change, increasing women into leadership at senior levels.
