On 20 August, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in coordination with Lang Son Province and Australian partners, organised a training program to enhance modern leadership capacity for public sector leaders and managers, with the participation of 50 leading officials from provincial-level departments, boards, and sectors, as well as the Standing Boards of Party Committees of several communes and wards in Lang Son.
This activity is part of the framework of the Vietnam-Australia Centre located at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, contributing to materialising the Vietnam-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the fields of education and training, human resource development, and public sector capacity building.
The program focuses on two main groups of contents: leading and driving green growth and sustainable development; and reform, cooperation, and leadership in disaster risk response, enhancing adaptive capacity and resilience to climate change.
Through Vietnam-Australia expert dialogue sessions, group discussions, and practical situation simulation exercises, participants are encouraged to proactively study materials, actively exchange, and practise handling leadership situations, thereby developing action plans to effectively apply the knowledge to their actual professional work.
The program runs through 21 August 2026.
