Over the 3-day period from August 24 to 26, domestic and international experts, together with participants who are leaders and managers at all levels in the province, exchanged and discussed highly topical and practical issues such as leading green growth and economic transition; leadership in the context of change and enhancing resilience to climate change; innovation, digital transformation, and the application of artificial intelligence; as well as digital governance and digital transformation at the grassroots level.
Through the program, participants gained new approaches to leadership and governance, exchanged practical experiences, and developed their capacity for strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving in the public sector. In particular, the program focused on connecting the provided knowledge with the practical issues that leaders and managers are directly facing while organising and executing their tasks.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Quang Ngai Province, emphasised that the LEADCOM program holds practical significance, contributing to updating knowledge, innovating thinking, and modernising leadership and management methods. It also enhances the capacity of cadres and civil servants to meet the requirements of building a modern, professional, effective, and efficient public administration, as well as fulfilling the development needs of Quang Ngai Province in the new period.

According to Mr. Tuy, in the context of sustainable economic development coupled with environmental protection, industrial growth combined with energy transition and green transformation, alongside digital transformation, deeply impacting and altering the methods of leadership, management, administration, and public service delivery, leaders and managers at all levels must not only excel in immediate administrative tasks but also elevate their strategic thinking, enhance forecasting capacity, proactively adapt, identify and seize opportunities, and timely and effectively resolve new issues arising from practical realities.

To ensure the LEADCOM program delivers practical value -broadening perspectives, innovating approaches, and inspiring applicable solutions – Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy requested that participants uphold a high sense of responsibility, remain proactive and eager to learn, and actively engage in discussions connecting theory with the practical duties of their sectors and localities.
Mr. Tuy emphasised: “Most importantly, following this training course, each of you must creatively apply this new knowledge and these new approaches to your actual work, driving clear and substantive changes in leadership and administration. You must proactively research and advise competent authorities on appropriate, feasible policies and solutions to meet Quang Ngai’s development needs in the new context”.
